Occupy: Get Involved
Music: Alexandra Streliski - "Prelude" (used with permission)
"Last September 17th, as part of a wave of global protest, people from across the country raced to the heart of New York's financial district to occupy Wall Street. In the face of big banks foreclosing on our homes, killing our jobs, buying up our democracy, and turning our environment into just another toxic asset, you showed up, and we became the 99%."

Vancouver began Casseroles demonstrations in solidarity with the Quebec student movement and against the Charter-violating, emergency anti-protest law Bill 78. This June, some participants at these Vancouver events had bones broken, rotator cuffs torn, and heads smashed into doors when they were assaulted and arrested by the VPD for such things as asking for police badge numbers or almost getting struck by a motorist trying to speed through a crosswalk.
Occupy: Still Free
Music: ABBA - "Take a Chance on Me" & Jamiroquai - "Soul Education"
Occupy. Still Here. Still Free. #M17 marks six months of American occupation and raising of social consciousness. Tents are a medium of expression, nodes for social services. We have so much yet to communicate, so much yet to give. When you're ready, we'll still be here; we'll still be free.
99%, take a chance.
